This month, we'll hear from James Westphal!
James Westphal has worked in IT with a focus on relational databases since 2007. He has a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Washington, which informs his approach to problem-solving. James uses a combination of SQL, C#, and Python, and whatever else gets the job done right.
As data professionals, we are tasked with helping businesses improve their processes by delivering insights that will help drive change, pipelines to keep data current, and automation to reduce business costs. That task often comes with different sets of challenges. James Westphal will be starting us off with a discussion on challenges he has faced, how he has overcome them, and some of the tools he has used to work through them. Join us to hear from James and participate in the discussion by sharing your experiences. Students and new professionals are welcome and encouraged to attend, ask questions, and participate in the discussion.
Join us for networking with the data science community.
